Gear Review: Altra Mont Blanc BOA Trail Runners

After years of stack height fattening across the running shoe industry, the long trails of America are awash with towering stilts of neon EVA. They bounce their wearers over mountains, across countries, and between aisles of Little Debbie and potato chips in gas station convenience stores. It’s difficult to stand out in a market as ripe as this, yet that is exactly what the Mont Blanc BOA achieves.
