I carry a Garmin inReach Mini messenger device on most of my adventures. I have mixed feelings about this, but I do enjoy having a record of places I’ve stayed and peaks I’ve bagged. I also think my feelings will become decidedly less-mixed if I ever need to use the SOS feature.
